- VLC Media Player on the Client side which is not mandatory but can open all the streams and files generated by Netcam Studio: VLC Media Player
Netcam Studio
Netcam Studio is designed for Windows operating systems and allows putting in place an effective security system with remote access.A large selection of network cameras are supported, it is intended for running 24/7 and there is no need to register an account or to pay a monthly fee to use it.
The installation package contains:

- Netcam Studio Web Client

Netcam Studio Mobile
In order to use it, you need to have Netcam Studio Server or Netcam Studio X running on your computer and accessible over Internet. This implies opening and forwarding the port 8100 on your router so that your mobile devices can communicate with Netcam Studio.

Netcam Studio Smart Camera
It is of course compatible with Netcam Studio but can also be used without and be accessed from any browser or any other device running the application connected to the same Wifi network.
The best part is that it's free and works on both Android and iOS and you can even mix the devices (Stream from Android and watch on iOS or vice-versa).

Moonware Universal Source Filter
It supports all the different types of streams supported by Netcam Studio: JPEG, MJPEG, MPEG4, Local Media Files and RTSP (TCP/UDP) Sources. It is also able to decode audio and provides very low latency/delay just like Netcam Studio does.
At this stage, only the free version (displaying a small Moonware Studios logo) is available. Individual and developer licenses as well as 64-bit version of this filter will be available later this summer.
